The Daniel Brooks Legacy Scholarship
To support Konnect Ministries residents who demonstrate commitment to recovery, a passion for skilled trades or creative arts, and a desire to rebuild their lives with purpose, just as Daniel did through carpentry, tattoo artistry, and his love for animals.
Scholarship Details
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a current resident of Konnect Ministries Recovery house
- Be actively engaged in their recovery program
- Demonstrate interest in a skilled trade (e.g. carpentry, tattooing, agriculture, etc.)
- Submit a short essay or video on how they plan to use their second chance
- Have completed at least 60 days in the program
Award Details
- Amount: $500-$1,000 (adjustable based on funding)
- Frequency: Awarded twice a year (Spring & Fall)
- Use of Funds: Tools, training, certifications, art supplies, or small business startup.
